Hi All,
Sorry for the consecutive updates, but we've had some questions regarding the recommended size-up! We still recommend sizing up because of the tight fit, but I've also updated the line curve for the (1) "shoulder width measurement" to accurately portray how to measure this length (it's not a straight point from shoulder to shoulder like in the previous chart). Hope that clears up any confusion!
Additionally, if you are a Kickstarter backer, you should be able to use the original survey link you received to make any size changes. We found out that Backerkit preorders outside of Kickstarter will need to cancel their current order and remake it to make sizing changes. Jackets are in + Sizing Up Recommendation

Hi guys!
Good news, the jackets cleared customs fast and we have them in our storage unit now. 🙏 It feels like such a relief to get them!
One thing we want to note is that we did have a lot of people come by and try on the size large, but have said that the shoulder area feels tighter than expected. Their feedback was that it fits like a small-medium. After measuring the jackets we actually received, the size chart was not as accurate in the chest/shoulder measurement, so we recommend sizing up minimum one size so that it's comfortable around the shoulders where it's the most important! (The material is heavier weight and thicker than the Xiao jacket, so it also feels tighter in general.)
We've also tried throwing it in a cold water wash and normal dry cycle, and there was surprisingly no shrinkage. ✌️Just something to note. We will leave the surveys open if you guys want to make sizing updates, but we will be charging cards this week! Some orders will be shipping out end of the month, but most will be shipping out after the bags arrive!
Customs Issues for Bag Shipping and Jacket Updates

Hey guys,
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, we appreciate all your patience with the project! 😭 We've been going back and forth with our manufacturer about the new lab testing requirements for imported products before they are cleared by customs, which just went into effect as of July (unlucky timing).
We finally have an official expected arrival date of 8/25 for the initial batch of jackets going out! Once it arrives, however, we want to spot check for quality and make sure all the sizing is accurate before locking your size choices. Since we'll finally have more than one, we might also give the final jacket a couple washes at different temperatures to see how much it shrinks, haha. After that, in the event that we want to suggest sizing up or down, we will post an update and give everyone a couple of days for changes and then lock addresses.
That being said, since the new crossbody bag was a last minute stretch goal, they will not be ready until end of August and then they will need to ship. Only pledges that do not include bags will be shipping out first. Thank you for understanding!
No Pickup for AX

Unfortunately, the manufacturer is just finishing up packing the jackets this week, so we imagine it will not arrive in time for AX Pickup. :( We know a lot of you guys wanted to pickup at AX, so we're sorry that it didn't work out. Alternatively, we will be available for local pickup in San Gabriel, CA if you guys are nearby and would like to save on shipping costs!
